Delicious chocolate should never come at the cost of people or the planet. That’s why we work exclusively with Luker, sourcing the finest, most ethical single origin dark chocolate on the planet!
Our Farmers
Chocolate wouldn’t exist without farmers, yet the industry rarely puts the spotlight on the people who make all this deliciousness possible. By sourcing directly through Luker Chocolate, we create a short supply chain that values farmers as true partners, not commodities. Luker guarantees that 90% of the London Cocoa price goes directly to farmers, ensuring real income, real stability, and real respect.
This direct relationship means full transparency and consistent quality, but more importantly, it means farmers are treated like human beings. They’re paid well, not just “fairly.” They benefit from long-term, relationship-driven partnerships, community programs, and philanthropic initiatives through The Chocolate Dream. And they receive tools, training, and support to grow cocoa more sustainably, strengthening their crops, farms and their futures.
Fine Aroma Cocoa
Ok, this is a bit geeky, but we think it's pretty cool. The International Cocoa Organization established a status for Cocoa that was free from flavour defects, meaning consistency of taste and quality for the end product: chocolate! Only 8% of cocoa grown globally meets the strict criteria, which is reflected in the way the crops are cultivated, harvested, fermented and dried.
Cocoa that meets the standard also demonstrates significant genetic diversity which can only be good for the health of our beatuiful earth. It reflects the rich history and cultural heritage of Cocoa grown in Colombia: the origin of this wonderful plant.
The Chocolate Dream
Our mission is to support Luker in their goal to create brighter and more prosperous futures for cocoa growers in Colombia. The Chocolate Dream programs are tailored and implemented based on the specific needs and profiles of different regions. From providing education and entrepreneurial upskilling in rural areas, supporting short value chains to enhance incomes and profitability for farming families, to ensuring human rights enforcement especially for women and girls.
The Chocolate Dream will make cocoa farming and rural living a good, fair way of life for generations to come.
